I’m not a fan of competitions when it comes to what I create. There’s a ton of anxiety associated with competing for what others think is any good. It’s also been my experience that I don’t win or even place in competitions, so other than its being a deadline to motivate me, it’s best not to invite the anxiety and disappointment that follows. Thankfully, I’m not a person who needs a deadline to get things done. When something means something to me, I get it done whether anyone knows about it or not.

But listening to you made me think that it’s all around me - I just haven’t tapped into it yet. And I felt loved just from listening.
