"I like doing demolition work. There’s something deeply satisfying about tearing things down and starting over," sounds like a model for your songwriting too / someone reminded me of intentionality recently / it was like 'i'm clearing out space in my house and i seem to be going thru a whole internal experience at the same time' / 'oh yeah that's intentionality' she said or it may have been some other word that i don't remember but means the same thing - what you are doing internally is reflected in what's happening externally and vice versa / that's what i mean

Hopefully the plumber can replace it with Pex tubing as it’s so flexible it can freeze & thaw & not burst. I’ve been replacing my plumbing with it as needed. If you want more info on it, see Gina at Home Depot. She’s usually in the lighting or electrical or plumbing dept & has worked in plumbing, HVAC & as electrician. She knows everything I swear!

Yes, Pex - lightweight and flexible. As for home repairs, I've had enough. Living in my car (in a warmer climate, of course) looks attractive. A bigger car. Maybe a van with a cat.

I forgot to mention, I’ve done all my own plumbing repair (but never a big one like yours!) and it’s the only thing that makes me cry. Cry, then rest & read the plumbing book and/or YouTube nowadays, then call my brother for advice, then go back & finish with maybe a few more crying breaks. Nothing else I do has that effect on me.
