Ever since The New York Times reported last week that scientists had gotten a hint of life on a planet called K2-18b 120 light-years away, I’ve been wondering if K2-18b might be getting their first look at us too, and if so, what do they see?
Good morning, John. Was just thinking about you because of an article in this week’s NYTimes about a furniture maker in Lapland named Tskio Wirkkala…thanks for reading this week.
I couldn’t do it, Caroline. Don’t even like to think about being in that metal box. The training they have to do to find out if they can stand it is intense too. Really intense. Anyway, I’m glad to be on firm ground, happy to have humanity stay put and take care of what we’ve got. I’m glad the song brought peace to you. That make me smile. Thank you. Xo
SPECTACULAR!!! Loved the melody, the words, the great photos, and most of all, your lovely voice singing those beautiful words!!! Hugs, and special thanks for making my Saturday so special!! I’m gonna listen again and again! Lee
And you reminded me that when I bought a pile of books from the local bookstore a couple of months ago, Orbital was one of them! It took me so long to read a couple of other books that I forgot I had Orbital - and I was most excited about getting that one haha. Now I’m even more excited to get to it! Thanks :)
Thank you, Kirsti. So odd to listen to a song a year later having not listened to it in between. I loved it in a whole different way....As for Orbital, really good. So many great books right now so it's hard to get it all done. I'm struggling with that every day. ALL the things I want to do more often, more regularly. Watercolor, draw, guitar, piano, rest, walk, Brent, you, others, sing! Jeez. I don't sing enough...I need my KBG fix...xoxox
So fitting❤️

So fine. That image of a metal box… whoa. The song helped to bring me back to peace. Thank you, Bar. Beautiful as always! I treasure you.
