dogs and fish / hmm / i wonder what the secret message is ?? wander i guess / i wander / mostly in my mind / an adventure is exploring something you don't know about yet / thanks for the kind recommendation / that was cool
you caught my editing dilemma! I sort of wanted to make two blogs out of this one but just didn't want to postpone either. I don't know about you, but often after I post a blog, I come up with better titles, better endings, better whatevers. In this case, maybe "Wandering" or "The Wanderer" might have been a better title because that was the thread I ended up following. Maybe I could have suggested, too, that humans with all their dark sides, are in fact part of the miracle that inhabits this planet. I mean how do you explain the minds that created those dog and cat biographies or the building of an aquarium with the intention of sea life study and conservation? We're a miracle just like all the other critters here. I might have said something like that if I'd thought of it. And you're welcome for the recommendation. I hadn't gotten into all that for various reasons, but finally decided it was the right thing to do for the people whose blogs I read regularly. Thank you.
you can always edit / thoreau was editing in bed the day he died / when i read that i really was charmed because he wanted to make it better up to his last breath practically / i thought your post was lovely / ended abruptly like you had something more to say but forgot what it was / that happens to me all the time / voice recorder : )
thank you, Holly. A somewhat directionless blog this week, mirroring my state of mind. But I guess that's the point: wandering helps! Curious about what spots you like for walking??
Do you know Peavy Arboretum? That's one of my favorite spots near Corvallis. The Crystal Lake Park (it might be called Boat Ramp or something) is a good one even closer to town. If you want to go a little ways north to Albany, Bryant Park has some lovely trails (though they're not terribly long); this spot I love mainly for its river access.

You’re in an area with a lot of gorgeous spots for walking. I know it well.
I enjoyed both the dogs and the fish . 😁
