I’m late writing Fellow Human this week. Ten days ago, I tweaked my back playing my first and last game of Pickleball. This past Friday night, the muscles seized up again and knocked me for a loop (as my mom would say), making it hard to focus on anything other than breathing. I’ve been here before with my back, so I know that soon enough I’ll feel like myself again. Until then, it’s patience, Epsom Salts, ice, heat, long careful walks, and gentle exercises to get my core strength back. It’s a drag.
Instead of writing (and whining) I thought I’d send a few photos I’ve taken recently. I particularly like the sign we found on the electric pole in front of our house. The little boys down the street who sold us a gorgeous Abalone shell a few weeks ago are the creators of this sign. I love their entrepreneurial spirit. Unfortunately, they’re learning about limited demand right now. It hasn’t rained for a couple of months. There’s not much grass to mow. Seems patience is the name of the game in lots of ways these days. ‘til next week. Have a good one.
Love your flower photos and "Summer personified. " Just right. Hope our back is feeling better (i'm in a similar boat!) Onward and upward...
Hi Bar… I love your photos of the flowers. Your garden must be gorgeous! Sorry to hear about your back! Hope you are up & about soon. The photo of the young boy eating ice cream reminded me of our 3 boys @ Bailey’s Dock side in Wolfeboro when my Dad took them into
town for ice cream! I just drove 21 hours w/Lulu to Flathead Lake, Montana where I will hang out for a few weeks exploring . Looking forward to seeing you next month in PA.😊
