Wordless
It’s a quiet day here. We got home last night from my dad’s funeral in Philadelphia on Friday. I’ve been hoping to write today, to keep things on schedule, regular and all that, when really, I’m not there yet. What I wanted you to know is how grateful I am for the love and kindness you’ve sent my way these last couple of weeks.
I’ve spent the better part of the last couple of hours trying to get a good recording of a piece of piano music I’ve been working on for a long time. It’s called “The Last Monarch” with the butterfly in mind. Playing it today for you, felt like the right way to communicate.
Thank you for traveling with me all these months. It means a lot. Love, Bar

Glad you two made it home. It was a beautiful service and Bill nailed it in his eulogy. You all honored your Dad beautifully. Let's chat when you are feeling up to it. Hugs and lots of love, Mary
P.S. Love the new music piece
Oh Bar, thank you for sharing this gorgeous piece of music with us. And sending you love in the wake of it all.
