Unplugged

A week ago, we took a train from Albany, Oregon to Seattle, caught a 3-day sleeper train from Seattle to Chicago (fantastic!), then a flight to London to visit family. Along the way, there’s been limited internet connection, very little attention to the news, and lots of time to look out the window. What a treat that’s been! I normally write here on Mondays, but my jet-lagged, sleep-deprived brain is struggling to write a decent sentence. Just wanted you to know I’m alive and well, better for being unplugged. I’ll write again when I’ve gotten some rest.
