1000% with you Bar. Should have done this years ago. Uh, a while back you mentioned dealing with our dark days and exhaustion by eating cake. Did you and Brent eat them all? 😉
Abby, I think you're rightly confused....been thinking about the math and here's what I realize: you gotta adjust the clocks forward half an hour in March of 2030 (or whatever year it's going to be) then never change them again. If you do it the way I thought about earlier today (giving back the half hour in November), you're back at square one just half an hour off. Am I driving you nuts????
I am already nuts, but I like the simple idea of adjusting the clocks forward half an hour in March, although 2030 may be a stretch for me. so perhaps I will start now.
One of my favorite practical jokes in college, in the pre-digital clock days, was on the night of the daylight savings time change to go to the dorm circuit breaker panel at 3:00 AM and shut off the power for EXACTLY one hour. Repeated over a couple of subsequent nights, it caused absolute chaos.
not sure what to say about this, JJ. I'm sure glad it was a Sunday when everything was turned upside down. Hopefully things were figured out by Monday when classes and life outside campus started up again. I'm STILL advocating for the half-hour-adjustment/compromise!
I love this so much, though I didn't "clock" the math. Then I scrolled down to see the exchange between you and Abby, and I'm cracking up! Let's all stick to writing, huh? 😁

Have you ever seen the size of New Morning’s cakes?? Too huge for me, although every so often I get a piece of their carrot cake.
Here’s to fixing our clocks!!
Good grief! I am so impressed with your logic and creativity! Now I have to go back and read it again to make sure I understand!
This made me laugh out loud. Thank you and sorry!

I love you for making me laugh and for many other reasons.
More cake, fewer clocks!
So right!

Now I’m laughing! So right. Thank you for getting me going again this morning❤️
