Dear dear Bar, Hope things are going well for you and Brent these days, and am just sending you a big hug, and some comments are how much I enjoy reading your writings! Keep me on your list, m'dear! All is well here in Bklyn! We go up to the Vineyard on May 27, and as always, would love to have you and Brent come visit.....just need to know the date in advance! Keep smiling and writing great tales, more Hugs, Lee
I love you, Lee. Was thinking about you an hour ago when I got Billy C's "Christmas" letter. Made me want to come see you and I hope to do that soon. Thank you thank you. xoxo
Bar, Georgia O'Keefe had nothing on you! Your closeup pictures of flowers always bring O'Keefe to mind and your shared ability to bring out the miracle we mostly miss because we are standing several feet away. This are glimpses into your soul. Thank you for another uplifting start to the week. We will share some thoughts about passings over tea soon.
thank you, Bill. I always feel a little awkward accepting accolades for my flower photographs. The beauty is not mine if you know what I mean. They really are a miracle and I love capturing a little bit of that. It's also true that it feels too easy to take credit! Point 'n' shoot 'n' share is my motto. I'm slowly getting it that we each see everything entirely differently. I'm grateful that whatever I'm seeing speaks to you. It's such an important thing to understand, but I think we all have trouble figuring that out.
me too, Hank. She was somethin'. I know all mothers are somethin'. Yours certainly was. But she was my somethin'. I loved her, still do. And so grateful for a woman like her in my life.
As for my mom, she was really somethin’. A maverick in many ways, with a big heart and dearly loved by a lot of people including me. She knew all sides of me for sure and was constant no matter what snark I bugged her with. And I did.

Wish I had known her much better!

Bar, I've never thought of you as even being capable of snark. Huzzah! You ARE! Moms. Oy. I'm glad you have a fond connection, a love tie. xo
Um. Talk to Brent…

So great. xo
